Ingredients
- 8 oz spaghetti
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Grated Parmesan cheese for serving
Instructions
- 1Cook spaghetti in salted boiling water according to package instructions — 8 minutes
- 2In a large skillet, heat 1/4 cup olive oil over medium heat — 1 minute
- 3Add 4 cloves minced garlic and 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes to the skillet, sauté until fragrant — 1 minute
- 4Add 1 lb large shrimp to the skillet, season with salt and black pepper, cook until pink and opaque — 3 minutes
- 5Pour in 1/2 cup chicken broth, stir and let simmer for 2 minutes
- 6Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss to combine — 1 minute
- 7Stir in 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley and juice of 1 lemon — 1 minute
- 8Serve with grated Parmesan cheese on top
