  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Grated Parmesan cheese for serving

Instructions

  1. 1Cook spaghetti in salted boiling water according to package instructions — 8 minutes
  2. 2In a large skillet, heat 1/4 cup olive oil over medium heat — 1 minute
  3. 3Add 4 cloves minced garlic and 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes to the skillet, sauté until fragrant — 1 minute
  4. 4Add 1 lb large shrimp to the skillet, season with salt and black pepper, cook until pink and opaque — 3 minutes
  5. 5Pour in 1/2 cup chicken broth, stir and let simmer for 2 minutes
  6. 6Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss to combine — 1 minute
  7. 7Stir in 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley and juice of 1 lemon — 1 minute
  8. 8Serve with grated Parmesan cheese on top
