Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
- 2 lemons (1 sliced, 1 for juice)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill (chopped)
- 1 tablespoon capers (optional)
Instructions
- 1Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) — 5 minutes
- 2In a small bowl, mix 2 tablespoons olive oil, juice of 1 lemon, 2 cloves minced garlic, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper — 2 minutes
- 3Place 4 salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper — 2 minutes
- 4Brush the olive oil mixture over the salmon fillets evenly — 2 minutes
- 5Layer lemon slices on top of the salmon fillets — 2 minutes
- 6Sprinkle 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill and 1 tablespoon capers (if using) over the salmon — 1 minute
- 7Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork — 15 minutes
