- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch (for sauce)
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 orange, zested
- 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- 1In a bowl, mix flour, salt, and pepper — 2 minutes
- 2Coat the diced chicken in the flour mixture — 3 minutes
- 3Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat — 2 minutes
- 4Fry the coated chicken until golden brown, about 4 minutes per side — 8 minutes
- 5In a separate saucepan, combine orange juice, sugar, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and orange zest — 2 minutes
- 6Bring the sauce to a simmer over medium heat — 3 minutes
- 7Mix 1 tablespoon cornstarch with 1 tablespoon water and add to the sauce, stirring until thickened — 2 minutes
