  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. 1Bring chicken broth to a boil in a pot — 5 minutes
  2. 2In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water until smooth — 2 minutes
  3. 3Add cornstarch mixture to boiling broth, stirring constantly until thickened — 2 minutes
  4. 4Reduce heat to low, and slowly drizzle in beaten eggs while stirring gently — 1 minute
  5. 5Add sesame oil, white pepper, and salt to taste — 1 minute
  6. 6Garnish with sliced green onions and serve hot — 1 minute
