  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 24 ounces marinara sauce
  • 15 ounces ricotta cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) — 10 minutes
  2. 2Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions — 10 minutes
  3. 3In a large skillet, heat olive oil and sauté onion and garlic until soft — 5 minutes
  4. 4Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned — 8 minutes
  5. 5Stir in marinara sauce, oregano, salt, and pepper; simmer for 10 minutes — 10 minutes
  6. 6In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, and half of the Parmesan cheese — 5 minutes
  7. 7Spread a layer of meat sauce in a baking dish, followed by noodles, ricotta mixture, and mozzarella cheese — 10 minutes
  8. 8Repeat layers, finishing with meat sauce and remaining mozzarella and Parmesan on top — 10 minutes
